Yesterday I discovered that MediatR, a very popular .NET library, went to a licensed model. I use it a bit in all of my Discord bots, so that was almost annoying. Instead, I replaced what I used it for with some simple code and got rid of it altogether. A win!
One of my biggest pain points in my switch from Edge to Firefox is missing the Chrome dev tools. Firefox has them (and had them first?) but they just seem a tiny bit worse. How do devs work in browsers like Safari or Vivaldi? I haven't tried yet.
See, to me, I'd hope to open the App Store and see an app recommended I haven't heard of before. Who does TikTok need to be promoted to at this point?
Off work today (mows the lawn)
Happy for Hollow Knight fans because they're getting a game that's an absolute, pure passion project, & that's so rare. Even in the indie space, financially it can be so hard to actually make that happen, so that these devs were able to do that comfortably? π₯
While I like certain aspects of iOS 26's Liquid Glass more than others, I think I'm in a place of liking it overall. I enjoy that it's more reactive when you touch buttons and text fields. I look forward to the third party app updates to come.
Does anyone actually like those websites that pretend to be a single source for all restaurants? Or restaurants that just have their menu on Facebook? Have a website, please.
I'm slowly working on ideas for 2 separate Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, and I'm excited. I'm slightly overwhelmed by the rules part, but excited to build stories and stuff!
I wish I'd kept every Home Screen screenshot over the years somehow, it'd be fun to go back through and see what's changed, what's been a mainstay, etc. all the way back to like 2009 or whenever I got my iPod Touch.
I've been talking about putting a Dungeons n Dragons campaign together for weeks and my wife did it in a day.
